美國芝加哥大學的研究員，通過實驗發現，蝦等軟殼類食物含有大量濃度較高的－五鉀砷化合物。 這種物質食入體內，本身對身體並無毒害作用，但是，在服用「維生素C」之後，由於化學作用，使原來無毒的－五鉀砷(即砷酸酐，亦稱五氧化砷)，其化學式為(As2O5)，轉變為有毒的三鉀砷 (即亞砷酸酐)，又稱為三氧化二砷， 其化學式為(As2O3) ，這就是們俗稱的砒霜! 砒霜有原漿毒作用，能麻痹毛細血管，抑制巰基梅的活性，並使肝臟脂變肝小葉中心壞死，心、肝、腎、腸充血， 上皮細胞壞死，毛細血管擴張。 故中其毒而死者，常是七竅出血。所以；為慎重起見，在服用維生素C期間，應當忌食蝦類。

They went round all sugar cane stores and watched the way the hawkers handled
their sugar cane, wash their glasses, their entire procedure.
But they couldn't find the problem.

This meant that it had to be digested by the mother, right?
And the only logical conclusion they could come up with was that since these sugar cane juice stall
holders just leave the canes lying around on the wet and dirty floor,
it would not be impossible to think that stray cats could have peed on those sugar canes or near those
sugar canes. So think carefully the next time you order that favorite sugar cane juice!

「泡茶葉」時， 請一定要注意！
看来应该提倡和“功夫茶”了。功夫茶的茶叶只在壶中泡25到30秒就得将茶水倒出，茶叶一般泡上5到6泡就得扔掉换新茶。这样茶叶开水中冲泡的时间4到5分钟就完成历史使命了。：)
有个中年老伯在几个月前，身體並無異狀，但身上多處出現水腫尤其以手腳最為明顯，皮膚按下去之後會陷下去，久久才會回復。
經醫生診斷後表示，為腎衰竭的症況，到醫院檢查時發現兩個腎臟約90%都已纖維化只剩一小部份還在運作，因腎臟負責排水，但因已沒有排水的功能，所以導致體內積水有很多水分都排不出來。
後來用類固醇去抑制讓病情不要再惡化，因已將近要洗腎的階段目前情況已控制下來，需後續再觀察。
醫師詢問朋友老爸日常生活作息及飲食習慣後分析出原因，長期大量喝茶(泡茶葉)，但因泡茶習慣很不好，常會把茶葉浸泡過久導致茶葉會釋放過多的鉀離子，對腎臟會很致命，今年年初還做完全身健康檢查，有關於腎臟的數據都還很正常，短短幾個月，因泡茶不好的習慣，就可以讓兩個腎臟全毀，實在是很恐怖…。
加上前一陣子早上起來都有蛋白尿的現象也沒有注意，此症狀初期既無任何症狀，所以也不易察覺等到發現身上出現水腫及有稍微搔癢階段時已是腎臟損壞末期階段。
所以有在泡茶的人請不要將茶葉或是茶包泡太久，如果又是經常性有泡茶習慣的人更是要注意！
雖然現在洗腎健保有給付，但個人生命安全還是比較重要！
